$15 million donated to school by Katie and Amnon Rodan

Katie and Amnon Rodan’s family foundation has donated $15 million to the Milken Community School in Los Angeles, marking a significant milestone in the school’s $135 million capital campaign aimed at expanding its facilities to accommodate growing enrollment.

The campaign has raised $79.8 million, surpassing the halfway mark.

The funds support the school’s recent acquisition of the 22-acre Familian campus in Bel Air, California, enabling it to admit more students and enhance its infrastructure.

Katie and Amnon Rodan, co-founders of Proactiv Solution and Rodan + Fields, established their foundation in 2018, focusing on creating lasting change, particularly in Jewish education.

Their daughter Elana Rodan leads the foundation and relocated to Los Angeles in 2023.

The Rodans have also supported initiatives like EarlyJ, a Jewish early childhood education program.

Milken Community School’s Head of School Sarah Shulkind highlighted how the Rodans’ vision aligned with the school’s transformative impact on Jewish education and the broader Los Angeles community.
