Kraft family donates $24 million to Harvard Business School

Robert Kraft and his son, Jonathan A. Kraft, owners and president of the New England Patriots, made a $24 million endowment to Harvard Business School (HBS) to establish the Robert K. Kraft Family Fellowship Fund. This gift will go towards financially supporting students from underrepresented backgrounds who would otherwise be unable to attend the school.

This marks the second gift made to HBS by the Kraft family, their first being a $20 million pledge to support activities geared toward advancing precision medicine seven years ago. In recognition of the Kraft family’s generosity, HBS’s financial aid office will be renamed after them.

“Being part of HBS changed my life, and I am deeply grateful for the chance to help others benefit from the transformational power of this experience,” said Robert Kraft. “Our family is proud of the extraordinary difference that our fellowship recipients make in the world.”
