Guggenheim Museum receives $15 million

Gail and Alfred Engelberg make a $15 million donation to assist in advancing the arts education programs at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City. Gail, a member of the museum’s Board of Trustees and Chair of the Education Committee of the Guggenheim Foundation, has been a dedicated leader and advocate for the arts for 25 years. Her passionate work will be honored through the renaming of the museum’s education space to the Gail May Engelberg Center for Arts Education. This Center has a mission of offering learning opportunities within the arts field for community members, museum visitors, students and more.
