$83 million to strengthen communities from Ecolab announced by Christophe Beck
Ecolab Inc., the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services, provided $83 million of relief in the form of product donations, cash grants and associate volunteerism.
“For 100 years, Ecolab has been helping make the world cleaner, safer and healthier,” said Kris Taylor, vice president of Global Community Impact and President, Ecolab Foundation.
“We also have a long history of serving as leaders in our communities, supporting our neighbors with food safety, optimizing water use and protecting resources vital to life.”
For more than 35 years, the Ecolab Foundation has supported the communities where Ecolab associates live and work. In 2022, cash grants of more than $6 million were provided by Ecolab and the Ecolab Foundation to support the work of organizations that align with our focus areas of giving: youth and education, civic and community development, arts and culture, and environment and conservation. Nearly $5 million of the total funding supports organizations aligned to our ESG goals, providing resources and support to reduce risk factors for youth and others in need in our communities.
In partnership with World Emergency Relief, a non-profit organization that works with local organizations to actively combat hunger, poverty and abuse around the world, Ecolab distributed over $72 million of cleaning, sanitizing and public health products across the globe to help communities in need.

In 2022, our associates donated more than $2.6 million through the Ecolab Community Giving Program. Global employee engagement through giving and volunteerism, along with an Ecolab Foundation match, totaled $3.8 million supporting 2,338 unique global nonprofits.
