$20 million new commitment from “Giving Pledge” signatory Audrey McLoghlin to support female leaders of tomorrow

Audrey McLoghlin, the founder and CEO of Frank & Eileen, just doubled her company’s commitment to supporting female leaders of tomorrow, pledging $20 million over a 10-year period.

This announcement, made on January 22, 2025, significantly expands the company’s original Giving Pledge, launched in 2020.

In 2020, Frank & Eileen pledged $10 million over ten years to nurture female leaders.

The company achieved this goal in just four years, demonstrating a rapid and successful implementation of their philanthropic efforts.

The new commitment doubles the original amount to $20 million.

This expanded pledge will be fulfilled over the original 10-year timeframe, indicating an accelerated rate of giving.

The first iteration of the Giving Pledge has already made significant strides in supporting women’s entrepreneurship and leadership:

Launched fellowships at top MBA programs including Babson College, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and MIT Sloan School of Management.

Created the Frank & Eileen Accelerator at a Los Angeles school for girls in grades 7-12.

The program engaged 762 women entrepreneurial leaders annually through the Frank & Eileen Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership at Babson College.

Funded 9 women MBA scholars at the top three entrepreneurial schools in the United States.

Operated the Frank & Eileen Accelerator and Incubator at Marlborough School for three years.

Audrey McLoghlin’s commitment stems from her belief in the transformative power of entrepreneurship, especially for women. She states:

“The greatest impact I can have to change the world for the next generation is to help create more women entrepreneurs”.

McLoghlin sees this initiative as a way to address the underrepresentation and under-networking of women entrepreneurs, aiming to cause a generational shift that she believes will be “world-changing, life-changing, generationally changing”.

Frank & Eileen was founded in 2009 by former engineer Audrey McLoghlin, with the intention to reinvent the button-up shirt for women.

Inspired by Audrey’s Irish grandparents — the brand namesakes, Frank & Eileen — the brand slowly and intentionally grew to be globally recognized.

What makes Frank & Eileen so special is their commitment to championing entrepreneurship for good;

The brand is proud to be a certified women-owned, women-led, B corporation with long-standing commitments to ethical and sustainable business and production practices that prioritize people and the planet.

Audrey was born in Toronto, but grew up all over the US. However, she has dedicated her career to honoring her Irish roots, proudly crafting pieces using the finest raw materials found in nature since day one.

The company’s commitment to corporate responsibility and sustainable manufacturing is further underscored by the release of its first Impact Report.

By doubling down on their Giving Pledge, Audrey McLoghlin and Frank & Eileen are setting a new standard for corporate philanthropy in the fashion industry, focusing on long-term, systemic change through the empowerment of women entrepreneurs.
