$15 million gift from Jeremy and Kristy Fudge transforms university facility with state-of-the-art football building
Baylor University a private Baptist research university located in Waco, Texas transformed its football facility with new state-of-the-art football building.
A new 100,000 square foot facility has been added in Waco thanks to a $15 million gift.
Promised to “transform the footprint of Baylor athletics,” the Bears recently revealed a state-of-the art facility aimed at providing a dynamic experience for both players and coaches.
The Fudge Football Development Center added 100,000 square feet for Baylor football, thanks to a generous $15 million gift from alumnus Jeremy and Kristy Fudge.
Jeremy serves as managing partner of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP.(BAL), a US corporate immigration law firm.
Jeremy Fudge earned his B.A. magna cum laude from Baylor University in 1997.
Included in that large new footprint are coaches and equipment offices, a new locker room, new team meeting room, and a shiny new weight room. The indoor field also went from 80-yards to a full 100-yard field.
Lots of giant creative branding is done throughout the building that pops off the walls, and Dave Aranda and his crew have a lot to sell as they head into a critical year five leading the Bears.
