As a successful entrepreneur and angel investor, Denes has invested in over 20 companies, and founded a number of startups in the past decade, including funding and selling an HR company and co-founding PocketGuide, one of the winners of TechCrunch Europe and the world’s leading travel app for 150 cities, with millions of users.
Prior to building PocketGuide, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at Futureal, one of the largest Central European real estate investment partnerships.
In addition, Denes served for six years for a Swedish diplomatic trade mission and led one of the European sales and consulting units of Exportradet, a leading management consulting firm, where he set international corporate strategy and increased the profitability of over 100 companies including Ericsson, Electrolux, Volvo and H&M.
Denes has dedicated more than ten years to fostering growth, training and shaping corporate strategy for companies, business and political leaders from all sectors around the globe.
He is a frequent speaker at leading conferences and guest lecturer at universities such as Harvard, Kellogg, Insead and Remnin.
A respected community leader, Denes is closely involved with a number of philanthropy organizations.
Denes has been a frequent lecturer on the Bible in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Budapest and Johannesburg and on Saturday nights you can find him playing blues and jazz with his band.
